A common complaint and worry of Illinois farmers are weed control issues stemming from irresponsible, under-funded, or absentee neighbors.

Weed pressures are intense in Illinois, and staying on top of weed challenges is of great importance to a productive and sustainable Illinois farm. Weeds that are left unmanaged cause massive problems for neighbors. Noxious or herbicide-resistant weeds can wreak havoc on Illinois farms and open farmers up to legal issues.
